Dan is a proven senior operations specialist with demonstrated leadership, engagement and management skills in complex, and dynamic public and private sector (commercial, DOD, military organizations and in multi-national environments). He is a decorated retired US Airforce Colonel and Commander. He has over 25 years of experience serving in larger scale operations, program, policy and process management sector his entire career. He is a dedicated and very detailed oriented operations leader that brings in new innovative thinking and program directions for his client accounts. Dan has led several large operations and program due diligence/optimization efforts to attain the full corporate objectives.
He currently serves as the vice President for business operations at Horizon Global Partners (HgP) and has been instrumental in the development and implementation of several large government operations international. Dan also served as the VP of program operations at L-3 Communications and CACI for over 15 years a lead several large programs for both US and international governmental agencies.
Prior to joining HgP), he held several commanding and operational position at the Squadron, Group-equivalent and Headquarters (HQ) levels. He also served in Joint-service units, on MAJCOM, NAF and DRU staffs and was the Chief of the Strike/Attack/Electronic Warfare Division, Directorate of Air/Land Forces Application at the HQ of the United States Air Forces European working joint mission. Colonel Costantini is a Distinguished Graduate of multiple formal flying programs. He led combat missions in OPERATION Desert Storm. Colonel Costantini was Director of Operations for the largest Air Operation Center (AOC) in Europe, where he led and managed a global logistics and acquisition operation.
Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Digital Electronics/Computer Design), from Manhattan College, in New York and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Troy State University, in Alabama. Additionally, Dan holds numerous industry certifications including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and several military certifications on strategy, program operations, program management, process controls, command & controls, to name a few. He also received several awards and is a published thought-leader or on a few doctrines and training.
